Placer gold deposits occur downstream and west of the On Strike claims. Placer gold can be found in many of the desert washes and gulches. Our testing recovered coarse placer gold, up to 2.7-gram pieces. We found small quartz specimens with visible raisin-like clusters of gold, just down slope from the gold-rich quartz vein outcrops found on these claims. There are a couple old workings found on On Strike #6 & 7 where the old timers attempted to hit high grade veins and ore zones but they failed to extend the workings deep enough to make a strike. With metal detectors and dry washers, a nice batch of gold and gold bearing specimens could be harvested. We recommend working the hot spots, discovered through your testing. Numerous unexplored narrow rusty gold bearing quartz veins and stringers were seen on the claims.
The On Strike Claims are situated on the eastern slopes of gold rich Bradshaw Mountains, between Bumble Bee and the old mining camp of Cleator. There are prospects and past producing mines surrounding these claims. They include: Hidden Treasure, Golden Turkey, Howard Silver, Howard Copper, Last Chance, Jacquelyn, Republican and Bland Mine within 5 miles. Steve always said, “If you want to find gold, look where gold has been found.” This is one of those places. We have long known the richness of the Bradshaw mountains. Interest in the area picked up after results from the Kay Mine were published. Kay mine proves to be a VMS deposit, located at the south end of Black Canyon City. The host rock is Yavapai Schist, the host of all the past and future au and VMS producers. The On Strike Claim group adjoins our Heavy Metal Claims.
According to old state reports the property about 1 mile southeast has been developed by a 40 ft inclined shaft on the south end of the claim. That shaft was sunk with the plan to explore one of the many gold-silver rich veins that strike in a north-south direction. The old reports mention silver at 3 ounces per ton and visible gold up to 2.5 ounces per ton in gray quartz veins.
The On Strike group of 9 Lode claims are in Yavapai County about 50 miles north of Phoenix. On Strike #6 & 7 combine for 41.32 Acres. Black Canyon City is 17 miles south and offers gas, groceries, restaurants, bars, propane and numerous RV parks.
A good dirt road runs through the south portion of #6 & 7 that takes you to Cleator-Crown King Road. You'll find Bumble Bee area about 2 miles to the southeast. Though Bumble Bee is inhabited, it is referred to as a ghost town. Elevation on the claims ranges from 3100 to 3600 feet.
On the day we process your deposit or payment in full, you will receive an email from us that includes your receipt, a copy of the topographical map for your claim, a link to your claim plotted in Google Earth and the GPS coordinates for your claim. This grants you immediate access to your mining claim.
Within 2 weeks you will receive your claim packet in the mail that will contain hard copies of these documents as well as the Location Notice and a full size topographical map. Upon full payment, we process the claim into your name with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and County.
There is a yearly fee due to the BLM before September 1st to keep the claim active, currently $200.00
New Claim Tour:
You can schedule a tour of your new claim(s) with our field tech. Our tech will guide you to your claim and show you the 4 corner posts along with the location monument. They will be sure to point out any specific areas of interest and help you start your new gold mining adventure right! The New Claim Tour starts at $500.00 for up to 4 hours, $125.00 for each additional hour. Please call us to discuss and arrange this service. Claim Exploration Adventure:
We will organize a 1 day Claim Exploration Adventure with prospective Miners to go into the field and explore multiple claims within a specific area. You get to see the terrain, the water accessibility and road access in person. We will show you the beautiful Arizona rock formations and unique attributes of our available claims. The Claim Exploration Adventure is $1500.00 for a full day tour, $500.00 of which can be applied to your new claim purchase within 30 days of your completed tour. Claim Reselling Service:
While we hope that all of our customers get to enjoy their Mining claims to the fullest, we know that circumstances change. We offer a Claim reselling service to our customers that allows you to re-list any fully deeded claim that you originally purchased through us. The Annual listing fee is $250.00 to list the claim with us. When your claim is purchased, we will take care of the processing and paperwork, deduct our processing fee (the greater of $295.00 or 10% of the purchase price), then forward the remaining proceeds to you. Additional fees may be involved if investigative field work is required.
